Altar Rosary Society

The members of the Altar Rosary Society are mainly responsible for altar care at St. Thomas by the Sea parish. All ladies of the parish are encouraged and most welcome to join the organization, including those who are here temporarily, such as winter visitors. The members also organize social activities in the parish, such as receptions following funerals, pot luck dinners, receptions on special occasions such as First Communion, etc. The group operates a religious articles gift shop, and profits are used for charitable activities, supporting organizations such as Catholic Social Services, the Christian Service Center, St. Benedict School, and others, as well as to cover the cost of altar linens and other expenses. The group is a member of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women. Dues are minimal, at $5 a year.

The ladies meet once a month, from September through May, on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. We do not meet during summer months.
